In the primary school course last Friday, the children spread out foods that they like or do not like to eat on an imaginary "dining table". They used phrases like: "I like grapes. I don't like carrots. I like chips." - These were all phrases that many children were not yet familiar with.
Afterwards, the children read a book about the woodpecker with the teacher. They imitated his activities and formulated short sentences like: "The woodpecker hammers a hole. He eats nuts." - This was done according to the method of "Bewegtes Lernen" ("Learning through Movement"). Afterwards, one child read out their invented story about the woodpecker's life and everyone acted it out in various roles.
