LIMU Academy offers lessons at kindergartens and already curates several partnerships. One of these courses is led by our course instructor Emma, and we’d like to take a look into her lessons.

A wide variety of topics are covered throughout the course of the semester. Depending on the children’s interests, the topics are individually tailored and prepared by the course instructor. Of course, Emma makes sure there’s always plenty of fun and games.

One of the sessions was entirely devoted to food: What is it? Is it healthy? Do you like the taste of it? Fries for breakfast, or would you prefer fruit? We named, described and sorted the different foods. Afterwards, we played at buying and ordering food.

In another session, the main theme was emotions: How am I feeling today? What emotions are there and how can I describe them? We put picture cards in the correct order and discussed how the people in these stories might be feeling. Being able to name and describe emotions is a vital skill.

The semester isn’t over yet, and the children are already looking forward to all the topics that are still to come.
