LIMU Academy not only offers lessons on its own premises at Koppstraße. We are also active in kindergartens and hold regular German courses there. What exciting activities we do there, you can find out here – always under the motto “Fun, Games & Learning German”!

Our course instructor Karin always comes up with fun and engaging activities to introduce the children to the German language through fun and games. Every week, she has something new in store for the children at the kindergarten Schmetterling in Dornbach.

In one of the last units, the children built a house out of cushions and cloths. The process was accompanied verbally; the children speak German and learn through play. At the end, they got to paint and give free rein to their creativity, all combined with the German language.

Another time, the children got a glimpse into the fascinating history of Egypt and learned more about hieroglyphs. With the help of stamps with symbols, they also studied our Latin characters, as the question arose: “Which letter is that?” They crafted, painted and stamped, with the German language always present.

In another unit, various objects such as mats, cones and cushions were used. What were they used for? The children built a path into the forest that had to be overcome like a parkour. All steps and impressions were accompanied and described in words.

Learning and strengthening a language does not just have to consist of boring vocabulary, monotonous grammar exercises and confusing rule tables. We focus on creative activities which, combined with linguistic content and structures, have a particularly long-lasting learning effect.
