Every child in Austria knows the famous memory game "Ich packe meinen Koffer" ("I am packing my suitcase"). In German it goes like this:
Ich packe meinen Koffer mit einem Pullover.
Ich packe meinen Koffer mit einem Pullover und einer Hose.

Why not adapt the game to the cosy winter period and use "Ich backe meine Kekse" ("I am backing my cookies") instead:
Ich backe meine Kekse mit Mehl.
Ich backe meine Kekse mit Mehl und Eiern.
Ich backe meine Kekse mit...
Through this game the children can practise their German vocabulary in the semantic field of "cooking, baking and food". At the same time they train their memory and improve their creativity.
They game can be played whily the cookies are baking in the oven!
